Responsibilities
- Rapidly design, develop, and analyze a reliable lander propulsion system.
- Evaluate and define propulsion architectures and system-level requirements.
- Drive component-level design and selection efforts, supporting system verification testing.
- Establish and implement fluid analysis processes and conduct performance tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless development and execution.
- Create and manage supplier Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Own the full lifecycle of propulsion system components and sub-assemblies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in spacecraft and/or launch vehicle propulsion systems.
- Hands-on experience with fluid, electrical, and mechanical systems in aerospace.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles and fabrication processes for spaceflight hardware.
- Experience with fluid dynamics and pressurized components.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and fluid analysis tools is a plus.
