Responsibilities
- Perform engineering tasks, problem-solving, and documentation activities related to medical devices and surgical robotics.
- Design, assemble, and debug mechanical and/or electromechanical test fixtures.
- Develop methods and execute performance tests on prototypes.
- Create design concepts or refine existing designs for products.
- Communicate and collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Work on projects impacting the company's future business.
- Present project involvement and lessons learned to the organization.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree program.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Mechanical design and analysis skills (statics, dynamics, kinematics).
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototypes and mock-ups.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of Matlab or Python.
- Understanding of electromechanical or mechatronics design.
