Responsibilities
- Perform engineering tasks and documentation for medical devices and surgical robots.
- Design, assemble, and debug mechanical/electromechanical test fixtures.
- Develop and execute performance tests on prototypes.
- Create design concepts and refine existing designs.
- Communicate and collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Work on projects that may impact the company’s future.
- Present project involvement and lessons learned to the organization.
Job Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering program.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Preferred skills include mechanical design analysis, CAD experience (SolidWorks), and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototypes and knowledge of Matlab or Python is a plus.
- Availability for a full-time internship during a 10-12 week period.
- Proof of vaccination against certain diseases may be required.
