Responsibilities
- Perform engineering tasks and documentation related to medical devices and surgical robotics.
- Design, assemble, and debug mechanical/electromechanical test fixtures.
- Develop methods and execute performance tests on prototypes.
- Create design concepts or refine existing designs.
- Communicate and collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Work on substantive projects impacting the company's future.
- Present project involvement and lessons learned to the organization.
Job Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree program.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Mechanical design and analysis skills (statics, dynamics, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototypes and mock-ups.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of Matlab or Python.
- Understanding of electromechanical or mechatronics design.
