Responsibilities
- Perform engineering tasks and documentation for medical device development.
- Design, assemble, and debug mechanical/electromechanical test fixtures.
- Develop methods and execute performance tests on prototypes.
- Create design concepts or refine existing designs.
- Communicate and collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Work on projects impacting the company's future.
- Present project involvement and lessons learned to the organization.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree program.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Mechanical design and analysis skills (statics, dynamics, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototypes and mock-ups.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining).
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks) for design.
- Knowledge of electromechanical or mechatronics design.
