Responsibilities
- Create new product architectures for next generation instruments based on functional and design specifications.
- Conceptualize and analyze complex electromechanical assemblies and perform computer-assisted simulations.
- Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies, considering materials and stress analysis.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define design requirements.
- Analyze and test product designs and perform component verification testing.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing and troubleshoot design issues.
- Document engineering processes, including specifications, test plans, and detailed mechanical drawings.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of design experience.
- Experience in developing precision mechanical components and assemblies.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and medical device manufacturing regulations preferred.
- Excellent documentation skills and experience in new product introduction.
- Independent and self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
