Responsibilities
- Create new product architectures for next generation instruments based on specifications.
- Conceptualize and analyze complex electromechanical assemblies and perform simulations.
- Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies with consideration for materials and stress analysis.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define design requirements.
- Analyze and test product designs to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Develop and perform component verification and product validation testing.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing and service teams.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of design experience.
- Experience in developing precision mechanical components and assemblies.
- Knowledge of injection-molded components and new product introduction.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in engineering analysis tools (FEA, tolerance analysis).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong CAD skills, preferably in SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis software.
