Responsibilities
- Create new product architectures for next generation instruments based on specifications.
- Conceptualize and analyze complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Design and develop mechanical mechanism parts and assemblies.
- Understand various fabrication methods for custom designed parts.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define requirements.
- Analyze and test product designs.
- Support production by troubleshooting processes and component issues.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing precision mechanical components and assemblies.
- Familiarity with injection-molded components and new product introduction.
- Strong communication skills and ability to support team members.
- Proficiency in engineering analysis tools (e.g., FEA, tolerance analysis).
- Excellent CAD experience, preferably with SolidWorks.
- Experience in ISO 9001 or regulated medical device manufacturing preferred.
