Responsibilities
- Own the build, assembly, and testing of propulsion and vehicle control system components.
- Create assembly and test work instructions and design fixtures and tooling for production.
- Design, manufacture, and maintain automated high-pressure test equipment.
- Lead creative changes to production processes and hardware.
- Collaborate with design engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure manufacturability.
- Resolve manufacturing and test discrepancies in conjunction with the quality team.
- Support component testing, including proof and leak tests and functional checkouts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability and complex assemblies.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication tools and processes.
- Ability to take project ownership and work well in small teams.
- Preferred: 3+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment.
- Familiarity with CAD software and programming experience is a plus.
