Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer (New Grad)

Responsibilities

  • Own the build, assembly, and testing of propulsion and vehicle control system components.
  • Create assembly and test work instructions and design fixtures and tooling for production.
  • Design, manufacture, and maintain automated high-pressure test equipment.
  • Lead creative changes to production processes and hardware.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure manufacturability.
  • Resolve manufacturing and test discrepancies in conjunction with the quality team.
  • Support component testing, including proof and leak tests and functional checkouts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturability and complex assemblies.
  • Hands-on experience with fabrication tools and processes.
  • Ability to take project ownership and work well in small teams.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and programming experience is a plus.
