Responsibilities
- Establish quality methodology for tracking quality issues throughout the manufacturing process
- Build, develop & maintain systems to address quality problems that improve reliability and speed production
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver quality improvement projects
- Assist production and supply chain teams with hardware non-conformance tracking
- Develop manufacturing quality standards and inspection procedures
- Identify, source and set up quality inspection equipment and train operators
- Build out Impulse Quality Plan and documentation for AS9100 certification
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 8+ years in manufacturing, quality, build reliability, and/or design engineering role
- Experience building or optimizing a quality management system
- Hands-on approach to setting up quality systems and solving quality problems
- 10+ years in a quality engineering leadership role preferred
- Experience with AS9100 standards preferred
- Demonstrated technical writing skills and effective communication with teams
