Responsibilities
- Partner with design, manufacturing, and integration teams to ensure reliable hardware production.
- Perform closeout inspections and support early development tests.
- Identify and eliminate build defects through root cause analysis.
- Develop quality control processes aligned with reliability requirements.
- Provide feedback during design reviews regarding reliability and manufacturability.
- Implement improvements in MRP/ERP for better hardware handling and reliability.
- Audit production processes and identify gaps to write specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or high-reliability systems.
- Experience in supporting production builds and complex systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience.
- Familiarity with quality systems like AS9100 or ISO 9001.
- Experience with reliability engineering concepts (FMEA, reliability growth).
- Technical familiarity with composite materials and manufacturing.
