Responsibilities

  • Partner with design, manufacturing, and integration teams to ensure reliable hardware production.
  • Perform closeout inspections and support early development tests.
  • Identify and eliminate build defects through root cause analysis.
  • Develop quality control processes aligned with reliability requirements.
  • Provide feedback during design reviews regarding reliability and manufacturability.
  • Implement improvements in MRP/ERP for better hardware handling and reliability.
  • Audit production processes and identify gaps to write specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or high-reliability systems.
  • Experience in supporting production builds and complex systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with quality systems like AS9100 or ISO 9001.
  • Experience with reliability engineering concepts (FMEA, reliability growth).
  • Technical familiarity with composite materials and manufacturing.
