Responsibilities
- Contribute to new spacecraft avionics architecture trades
- Develop circuit boards for spacecraft, focusing on power and mixed-signal electronics
- Perform analyses and simulations of avionics devices and systems
- Own hardware from board bring-up to debugging and flight operations
- Establish high technical standards and mentor less experienced engineers
- Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years professional experience designing electronics for rockets or spacecraft
- Proficiency in electronic component selection, analysis, and layout
- Knowledge of mixed-signal and analog circuit design
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronics at the board level
- Desire to improve team processes and train team members
- Ability to communicate technical challenges and resolve concerns
