Responsibilities
- Develop circuit boards for spacecraft, focusing on analog, digital, or control electronics.
- Perform analyses and simulations of avionics devices and systems.
- Act as the Responsible Engineering authority for hardware, overseeing design from board bring-up to flight operations.
- Define hardware interfaces and verify requirements.
- Maintain high technical standards.
- Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in electronic component selection, analysis, simulation, schematics, and layout.
- Knowledge of mixed-signal and analog circuit design.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronics problems at the board level.
- Strong communication skills for technical challenges and rationale.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Preferred: Experience with Altium Designer and new development work for spacecraft or rockets.
