Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design engineering teams for prototype development and transition to production.
- Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes for assembly operations.
- Lead initiatives for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and support to production teams.
- Integrate additive manufacturing technologies into production processes.
- Manage cross-functional projects to meet timelines and objectives.
- Support root cause analysis for production issues to enhance product quality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, particularly in engine or electric motor assembly.
- Expertise in manufacturing process design and improvement methodologies.
- Ability to design tooling for mid/high-volume manufacturing.
- Proficiency in design software and manufacturing execution systems.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with automotive or aerospace industry standards and regulations.
