Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis using finite element and classical hand calculation methods, and support validation testing.
- Conduct heat transfer analyses using analytical and finite element methods in thermodynamics, single and multi-phase flows, and energy systems.
- Post-process and interpret test data to support product validation and design refinement.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment.
- Participate in requirements validation, project compliance, and risk management activities.
- Contribute to process development, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or closely related field with emphasis in heat transfer, thermal sciences, or stress analysis.
- 2+ years of experience in the aerospace industry with a background in structural or thermal analysis.
- Hands-on experience performing thermal and stress analyses on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, or similar systems.
- Proficiency in ANSYS finite element software and strong understanding of linear/static, nonlinear, fatigue, and vibration analyses.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
