Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing Production Team to execute KPI's: Safety, Quality, Inventory, and Cost.
- Lead process optimization and equipment layout improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Develop manufacturing procedures and tooling concepts for cost reduction.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks by collaborating with various teams.
- Monitor key metrics and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
- Create and maintain training materials for technicians and operators.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing process development or industrial engineering.
- Strong knowledge of process flow and work standardization.
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume, or engineered-to-order environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma principles; Green Belt preferred.
- Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the U.S.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
