Responsibilities
- Design test fixtures and interfaces
- Perform analysis to determine target test points, instrumentation, and ensure sufficient test safety margins
- Organize and run test design reviews with stakeholders in cross-functional teams
- Create manufacturing plans for test components/fixtures and work directly with manufacturing/build teams
- Design and release flight-like hardware as necessary for tests (including CAD and drawing creation)
Job Requirements
- Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, studies, or projects
- Must be currently enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university (undergraduate student in third or fourth year, or enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program)
- Strong interest in testing
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles
- Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus's mission
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- GPA of 3.0 or above
