Responsibilities
- Structural design for vehicle subsystems like hydraulics and fuel systems
- Perform structural and thermal analyses using hand calculations and FEA
- Lead trade studies focusing on mass efficiency, cost, and performance
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams
- Manage hardware development from concept to test
- Present technical content in internal and cross-functional design reviews
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Thermal Fluids, Structural Engineering, or similar
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Enthusiasm for aviation and Hermeus' mission
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- GPA of 3.0 or above
