Responsibilities

  • Evaluate designs for manufacturability and testing, providing feedback to the design team.
  • Design and implement tooling and test solutions to support component build and delivery.
  • Develop new processes and procedures to support flight hardware builds.
  • Manage projects and execute to tight timelines while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven solutions to technical issues encountered during build.
  • Actively interface with technician and engineering teams to resolve product non-conformances and keep build on schedule.
  • Support capacity modeling and time studies to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, studies, or projects.
  • Currently enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university (undergraduate student in the third or fourth year, or enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program).
  • Strong interest in vehicle hardware.
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
