Responsibilities
- Evaluate designs for manufacturability and testing, providing feedback to the design team.
- Design and implement tooling and test solutions to support component build and delivery.
- Develop new processes and procedures to support flight hardware builds.
- Manage projects and execute to tight timelines while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven solutions to technical issues encountered during build.
- Actively interface with technician and engineering teams to resolve product non-conformances and keep build on schedule.
- Support capacity modeling and time studies to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement.
Job Requirements
- Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, studies, or projects.
- Currently enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university (undergraduate student in the third or fourth year, or enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program).
- Strong interest in vehicle hardware.
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
