Responsibilities
- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams across mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems.
- Own the design and delivery of critical plant systems such as radiation shielding and thermal management.
- Collaborate with nuclear, magnet, and systems engineering teams for integration.
- Drive engineering execution from concept to detailed design, manufacturing, and testing.
- Set technical standards for rigor, documentation, and accountability.
- Raise the standard for ownership, execution pace, and design clarity within teams.
- Mentor and develop the next generation of engineering leaders.
Job Requirements
- Degree in engineering or sciences.
- 10+ years of multidisciplinary engineering experience, including 5+ in leadership.
- Proven success in leading complex system designs from concept to deployment.
- Expertise in mechanical systems, heat transfer, vacuum systems, or process engineering.
- Ability to build structure and focus in high-ambiguity environments.
