Responsibilities
- Accelerate Fusion Development through rapid iteration and data-driven development.
- Lead and grow a cross-disciplinary team of experimental scientists and engineers.
- Shape operation campaigns by partnering with Science and Engineering teams for high-impact experimental programs.
- Maximize uptime by improving operational efficiency and optimizing processes.
- Promote data transparency across Operations, Engineering, Production, and Research teams.
- Define long-term strategy for future machine design, production, and testing capabilities.
- Oversee multimillion-dollar research and engineering projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering or physics.
- 10+ years of experience in R&D and operational leadership.
- 7+ years managing large, technically challenging programs.
- 5+ years of experience managing technical teams.
- Expertise in experimental design for complex multi-physics systems.
- Ability to apply first-principles thinking to solve challenges.
- Cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
