Responsibilities
- Accelerate development of fusion generators and plasma systems through rapid iteration and data-driven approaches.
- Manage a cross-disciplinary team of experimental scientists and engineers.
- Collaborate with Science and Engineering teams on high-impact experimental programs.
- Improve operational efficiency and reliability of fusion generator tests.
- Ensure seamless data flow between Operations, Engineering, Production, and Research teams.
- Develop a strategic roadmap for future machine design and testing capabilities.
- Define pathways for delivering and operating fusion power plants.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering or physics.
- 10+ years of experience in R&D and operational leadership.
- 7+ years managing large technical programs with full ownership.
- 5+ years managing technical teams, including managers.
- Expertise in experimental design for complex systems.
- Ability to apply first-principles thinking to solve challenges.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
