Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and testing of HDD heads as HDI/HMS lead.
- Collaborate with wafer design and process teams to address thermo-mechanical design issues.
- Validate and test new designs with the testing team.
- Present to various customer groups on HDI programs and products.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- Ten years of experience in the HDD industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Knowledge of HDI design and HAMR technology.
- Skilled in ANSYS, MATLAB, Python, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze data and recommend corrective actions.
