Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated or manual test fixtures for hardware validation.
- Conduct component-level failure analysis on returned hardware to identify root causes.
- Generate first-level analysis reports and detailed failure analysis documentation.
- Analyze RMA data trends to recommend design or firmware changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for reporting and improvements.
- Utilize testing tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers.
- Support hardware validation and sustaining activities.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in hardware testing, manufacturing test engineering, or failure analysis.
- Proficiency in debugging embedded systems and high-speed communication interfaces.
- Experience with Linux-based systems and shell scripting for diagnostics.
- Strong written communication skills for technical reporting.
- Systematic approach to isolating variables on defective devices.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
