Responsibilities
- Own the reliability of robotics systems, from PLCs to Kubernetes.
- Build interfaces for telemetry ingestion from controls and robotics systems.
- Write code frameworks and tools to support controls and robotics systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop reliability standards and practices.
- Review designs and develop service-level objectives and indicators.
- Implement automated remediation and self-healing systems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding reliability trade-offs.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in owning the reliability of production systems.
- Strong understanding of systems thinking for sustainable solutions.
- Proficient in Kubernetes, networking, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Skilled in programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Golang, or C++.
- Experience with edge/on-prem infrastructure and telemetry data management.
- Direct experience with robotics and relevant technologies (e.g., ROS/ROS2).
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results quickly.
