Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability of robotics systems, from PLCs to Kubernetes.
  • Build interfaces for telemetry ingestion from controls and robotics systems.
  • Write code frameworks and tools to support controls and robotics systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop reliability standards and practices.
  • Review designs and develop service-level objectives and indicators.
  • Implement automated remediation and self-healing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding reliability trade-offs.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in owning the reliability of production systems.
  • Strong understanding of systems thinking for sustainable solutions.
  • Proficient in Kubernetes, networking, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Skilled in programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Golang, or C++.
  • Experience with edge/on-prem infrastructure and telemetry data management.
  • Direct experience with robotics and relevant technologies (e.g., ROS/ROS2).
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results quickly.
