Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for automated manufacturing robotic cells, including end effector design and cell layouts.
- Install, commission, and debug automation systems on the production floor.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical system and hardware issues.
- Develop standards, documentation, and procedures for scalable automation deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the machining roadmap.
- Troubleshoot complex systems using diagnostic tools.
- Conduct risk assessments in accordance with safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or related discipline.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience designing and commissioning end of arm tooling and fixturing for robotic applications.
- Strong skills in integrating sensors and pneumatic and mechanical components.
- Experience with material selection and finite element analysis for heavy robotic applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and lead root cause analysis.
