Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design for automated manufacturing robotic cells, including end effector design and cell layouts.
  • Install, commission, and debug automation systems on the production floor.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical system and hardware issues.
  • Develop standards, documentation, and procedures for scalable automation deployment.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and robotics engineers.
  • Execute the Machining roadmap to scale Hadrian’s operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems using diagnostic tools and lead root cause analysis.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or related discipline.
  • Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience designing and commissioning end of arm tooling and fixturing for robotics.
  • Strong skills in integrating sensors and pneumatic and mechanical components.
  • Experience with material selection and finite element analysis for heavy robotic applications.
  • Knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 13849 or ANSI B11.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
