Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design for advanced automated manufacturing robotic cells, including end effector design, fixturing, and cell layouts.
- Install, commission, and debug automation systems on the production floor.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical system and hardware issues.
- Develop standards, documentation, and procedures for scalable automation deployment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience designing and commissioning end of arm tooling and fixturing for industrial robotic applications.
- Strong skills in integrating sensors and pneumatic and mechanical components.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems using diagnostic tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with material selection, finite element analysis, and payload analysis for heavy robotic applications.
