Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for automated manufacturing robotic cells, including end effector design and layouts.
- Install, commission, and debug automation systems on the production floor.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical system and hardware issues.
- Develop standards, documentation, and procedures for scalable automation deployment.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and robotics engineers.
- Execute the Machining roadmap for multi-factory scaling.
- Conduct risk assessments in accordance with safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience designing and commissioning end of arm tooling for robotic applications.
- Strong skills in integrating sensors and mechanical components.
- Knowledge of material selection and finite element analysis for heavy robotic applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to lead root cause analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
