Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of first-generation manufacturing systems and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Provide early feedback on manufacturability to design engineering teams.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to enhance production efficiency.
- Drive upgrades and autonomous system developments for high-reliability production.
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment to optimize process efficiency.
- Identify and deploy automation opportunities guided by ROI evaluations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in systems engineering or automation.
- Proven collaboration skills with design engineers on product development.
- Strong expertise in DFM and influencing design decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects in fast-paced settings.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a hands-on mindset.
