Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of first-generation manufacturing systems and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic and process improvements.
- Provide early feedback on manufacturability to design engineering teams.
- Apply DFM principles to ensure ease of production and cost efficiency.
- Drive upgrades and developments for high-reliability production.
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment for optimal process efficiency.
- Identify and deploy automation opportunities based on technical evaluations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, especially in systems engineering or automation.
- Proven collaboration skills with design engineers on product development.
- Strong DFM expertise with a track record of influencing design decisions.
- Ability to lead complex projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and team-building skills.
