Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of first-generation manufacturing systems and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic and process improvements.
- Communicate with design engineering teams for manufacturability feedback.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to ensure production efficiency.
- Drive upgrades and developments for high-reliability production systems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment for optimized output and process efficiency.
- Identify and deploy automation opportunities guided by ROI and technical evaluations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, especially in systems engineering or automation roles.
- Proven collaboration with design engineers on product development.
- Strong DFM expertise to influence design decisions for manufacturability.
- Ability to lead complex projects and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for problem solving.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and team-building skills.
