Responsibilities
- Analyze customer drawings and current production states for Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines.
- Contribute as a key player in factories as a service efforts.
- Deliver cost, schedule, and solutions in partnership with customers and the Federal team.
- Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing.
- Oversee drawing reviews and automation feedback for Forging.
- Assist in building new factories and manufacturing processes for products utilizing Forging.
- Provide expertise in forging production and inspection methods.
Job Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in forging production and inspection.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to DOD and prime facilities.
- Experience in analyzing DFM and designing/ planning production and inspection lines for Forging.
- Prior experience in establishing new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive, or related domains.
- Ability to make risk-adjusted decisions quickly.
- Helpful but not required: software or automation experience.
- Working knowledge of forging technology and CapEx.
