Responsibilities
- Analyze customer drawings and current production states for Forging.
- Design, build, and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines.
- Deliver cost, schedule, and solutions in partnership with customers and the Federal team.
- Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing.
- Contribute as a key player in factories as a service efforts.
- Assist in building new factories for existing production scope.
- Review drawings for manufacturability and advise on forging best practices.
Job Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in forging production and inspection.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to DOD and prime facilities.
- Experience in analyzing DFM and designing/ planning production and inspection lines for Forging.
- Prior experience in establishing new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive, or similar domains.
- Ability to make risk-adjusted decisions quickly.
- Familiarity with forging technology and CapEx is beneficial.
- Software or automation experience is helpful but not required.
