Responsibilities
- Analyze customer drawings and production states to design and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines.
- Contribute to factories as a service efforts.
- Deliver cost, schedule, and solutions in partnership with customers and the Federal team.
- Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing.
- Oversee drawing reviews and automation feedback for Forging.
- Assist in building new factories and contribute to manufacturing processes for new products.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR requirements for U.S. Government regulations.
Job Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in forging production and inspection.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to DOD and prime facilities.
- Experience in analyzing DFM and designing/planning production and inspection lines for Forging.
- Prior experience establishing new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive, or other domains.
- Ability to make risk-adjusted decisions quickly.
- Working knowledge of forging technology and CapEx is helpful.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required for ITAR compliance.
