Responsibilities
- Analyze customer drawings and current production states to design and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines.
- Contribute to factories as a service efforts.
- Deliver cost, schedule, and solutions in collaboration with customers and the Federal team.
- Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing.
- Review drawings for manufacturability and advise on automation best practices for Forging.
- Assist in building new factories and contribute to manufacturing processes of new products.
- Analyze and plan production and inspection lines for Forging.
Job Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in forging production and inspection.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to DOD and prime facilities.
- Experience in analyzing DFM and designing/ planning production and inspection lines for Forging.
- Prior experience in establishing new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive, or other domains.
- Quick decision-making skills with a focus on risk adjustment.
- Knowledge of forging technology and CapEx is beneficial.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required due to ITAR regulations.
