Responsibilities
- Analyze customer drawings and production states to design and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines.
- Contribute as a key player in factories as a service efforts.
- Deliver cost, schedule, and solutions in partnership with customers and the Federal team.
- Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing.
- Review drawings for manufacturability and advise on automation best practices.
- Assist in building new factories and contribute to manufacturing processes for new products.
- Make risk-adjusted decisions quickly based on analysis.
Job Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in forging production and inspection.
- Able to travel approximately 25% to DOD and prime facilities.
- Experience in analyzing DFM and planning production and inspection lines for Forging.
- Prior experience in establishing new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive, or similar domains.
- Knowledge of forging technology and CapEx planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions.
- Software or automation experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
