Responsibilities
- Analyze customer drawings and current production states to design and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines.
- Contribute to factories as a service efforts.
- Deliver cost, schedule, and solutions in partnership with customers and the Federal team.
- Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing.
- Review drawings for manufacturability and advise on automation best practices.
- Assist in building new factories and contribute to manufacturing processes for new products.
- Travel approximately 25% to DOD and prime facilities.
Job Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in forging production and inspection.
- Ability to analyze DFM and design/plan production and inspection lines for Forging.
- Prior experience in establishing new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive, or related domains.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to move quickly in risk-adjusted scenarios.
- Familiarity with forging technology and CapEx considerations.
- Software or automation experience is beneficial but not required.
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility per ITAR regulations.
