Responsibilities
- Analyze customer drawings and current production states for forging processes.
- Design, build, and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines.
- Deliver cost, schedule, and solutions in collaboration with customers and the Federal team.
- Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing for forging projects.
- Lead engineering efforts for scoping and planning forging lines or factories.
- Provide automation feedback and best practices for forging.
- Assist in building new factories and contribute to new product manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in forging production and inspection.
- Ability to analyze DFM and design/plan production and inspection lines for forging.
- Prior experience establishing new forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive, or similar sectors.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% to DOD and prime facilities.
- Ability to make risk-adjusted decisions quickly.
- Working knowledge of forging technology and CapEx is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility for ITAR compliance is required.
