Responsibilities
- Design control panels and machine harnesses for robotic machining cells.
- Specify and integrate various electrical components such as VFDs and safety-rated relays.
- Document AC distribution and DC logic designs.
- Conduct arc-flash analysis and labeling for cells.
- Commission panels and harnesses on the manufacturing floor.
- Codify electrical standards into a reusable library.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on the manufacturing floor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and commissioning industrial control panels.
- Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Familiarity with safety standards such as NFPA 79 and UL 508A.
- Experience in wiring and commissioning panels.
- Ability to debug electrical systems and troubleshoot power quality issues.
- Licensed PE or on the PE track is a plus.
