Responsibilities
- Develop new machining capabilities to meet customer demands.
- Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) for high-risk, high-ROI parts.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in various factory areas, including tooling and process engineering.
- Collaborate with Applications Engineering, CAM Operations, Software Engineering, and Robotics.
- Advise on machine selection and workholding strategies.
- Contribute to product vision for software that enhances CAM productivity.
- Operate and setup CNC machines, ensuring efficient part production.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of CAM programming experience for aerospace parts.
- Proficient in CNC machine operation and setup.
- Knowledge of machining various materials and tooling applications.
- Experience in process engineering and addressing machining challenges.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering print reading.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Additional skills in software engineering and mechanical design are a plus.
