Responsibilities
- Develop new machining capabilities to meet customer demands.
- Execute NPI development for high-risk, high-ROI parts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on tooling, machine selection, and process engineering.
- Collaborate with Applications Engineering, CAM Operations, Software Engineering, and Robotics teams.
- Push the boundaries of CNC programming and automation.
- Advise on machining techniques, materials, and part families.
- Ensure adherence to stringent machining requirements and operational selections.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of CAM programming for aerospace parts.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including setup and tool offsets.
- Experience with various machine types and materials.
- Strong background in process engineering and GD&T.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with hyperMILL, Heidenhain, Fanuc, and NX is a plus.
- Understanding of macro programming and material science.
