Responsibilities
- Develop new capabilities in programming, machining, workholding, and automation.
- Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) for high-risk, high-ROI parts.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Copilot software to enhance CAM programming productivity.
- Consult on tooling, machine selection, workholding, and process engineering.
- Operate CNC machines and ensure proper part setup and tool loading.
- Apply knowledge of machining materials and fixture design.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of CAM programming experience in aerospace.
- Proficiency in CNC machine operation and setup.
- Strong machining knowledge with various machine types and materials.
- Experience in process engineering and machining difficult parts.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering print reading.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with software and macro programming is a plus.
