Responsibilities
- Establish and document requirements for new designs.
- Conceptualize designs and product architectures.
- Design parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Perform mechanical analyses (FEA, CFD, etc.) for various product aspects.
- Compile Bills of Materials and support sourcing hardware.
- Create Design Validation Plans and support testing execution.
- Integrate subsystems into full systems and support production builds.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems assembly.
- 3+ years of CAD software experience (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience with producing 2D part drawings & GD&T.
- Familiarity with static structural FEA (ANSYS preferred).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate and accept feedback effectively.
