Responsibilities
- Own and be the subject matter expert for product measurement chains related to mechanical phenomena detection.
- Lead the development of product requirements for physical measurements and test sensors accordingly.
- Develop physical experiments and hardware-in-the-loop testbeds to emulate real-world phenomena.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product development engineers.
Job Requirements
- MS in mechanical engineering + 3 years of industry experience, or PhD in mechanical engineering + 2 years of industry experience (aerospace engineering considered).
- 3+ years of experience in developing performance requirements and testing hardware.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and executing physical experiments.
- 3+ years of experience in scientific computing (MATLAB or Python).
- Strong fundamentals in dynamics, kinematics, mechanics of materials, vibrations, and/or robotics.
