Responsibilities
- Own the design, build, integration, and troubleshooting of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) test systems.
- Develop, refine, and execute detailed electrical test procedures for functional and environmental testing of avionics, power systems, and electronic assemblies.
- Perform subsystem-level testing and end-to-end electrical integration, including monitoring and evaluating telemetry data.
- Conduct functional checkouts, including electrical continuity testing, power-on sequencing, and integrated system operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve off-nominal electrical behavior in flight hardware and EGSE.
- Interpret electrical schematics, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents (ICDs).
- Collaborate with manufacturing, design, quality, and operations teams during build-to-test handoffs.
Job Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in integration, test, or systems-focused engineering with a strong electrical focus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related ABET-accredited engineering discipline.
- Deep understanding of circuit components, digital/analog electronics, power supplies, and avionics architectures.
- Experience writing and executing electrical test procedures for subsystem and system-level hardware.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Strong problem-solving skills using first-principles and systematic troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
