Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive team members on creating future data center architecture and design concepts.
- Investigate renewable power generation and storage technologies and find best ways to implement them.
- Create and maintain a plan of record electrical single line and layouts that will help quick implementation in the field.
- Develop architecture and products which will form the reference design for Google Data Centers.
- Implement solutions that lead to fast, cost-effective construction and delivery.
- Leverage experience working with data center equipment and environments.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards and develop infrastructure improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
- Preferred Master's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
- Experience in estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations and emergency power systems.
- Familiarity with design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations and electrical distribution systems.
- Experience with cross-discipline teams (structural, civil, IT/Telecom, etc.).
- Strong technical expertise in compliance and infrastructure improvements.
