Power Systems Engineer

The Power Systems Engineer will lead the design and development of power systems for data centers, focusing on efficiency and innovative technologies in electrical distribution, energy storage, and renewable energy.

• Lead executive team members on creating future data center architecture concepts and designs.
• Investigate renewable power generation and storage technologies and find the best ways to implement them.
• Create and maintain a plan of record for electrical single-line and layouts.
• Develop architecture and products which will form the reference design for Google data centers.
• Implement solutions that lead to fast, cost-effective construction and delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in technical leadership with industrial power system design, development, and testing.
• Experience with electrical distribution, energy storage, and electrical generation technologies.
• Familiarity with high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems.
• Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and building codes.
• Ability to solve technical problems across the electrical engineering and controls domain.
