Responsibilities
- Lead executive team members on creating future data center architecture concepts and designs.
- Investigate renewable power generation and storage technologies, and find best ways to implement them.
- Create and maintain a plan of record for electrical single-line and layouts that will help quick implementation in the field.
- Develop architecture and products which will form the reference design for Google data centers.
- Implement solutions that lead to fast, cost-effective construction and delivery.
- Solve technical problems across the electrical engineering and controls domain.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in technical leadership with industrial power system design, development, and testing.
- Experience with electrical distribution, energy storage, and electrical generation technologies.
- Familiarity with high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems.
- Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and building codes.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Experience in leading projects and communicating with senior executives.
