Responsibilities
- Innovate and design data center power conversion specifications and solutions.
- Analyze performance, cost, reliability, and availability trade-offs.
- Lead projects that involve new power systems and power electronics technologies.
- Manage the transition towards Low Voltage Direct Current (LVDC) systems for future data center designs.
- Partner with industry leaders to evaluate and adopt compelling technologies.
- Engage cross-functionally to ensure successful roll-out, testing, and validation.
- Provide technical leadership while troubleshooting system-level power delivery issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field.
- 10 years of experience with power converter design (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC).
- 5 years of experience in direct current power distribution design.
- Preferred Master's degree or PhD in Power Electronics or related field.
- Experience in data center power system design and microgrids.
- Understanding of power electronics fundamentals and modeling/simulation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
