Responsibilities
- Own and design the entire product design life-cycle, including requirements gathering and manufacturing release.
- Develop and execute designs for complex systems with thorough engineering analysis.
- Create test plans, perform testing, and validate designs to meet engineering requirements.
- Troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve potential technical issues.
- Influence product technology road-map with data-driven decisions and identify innovation opportunities.
- Provide engineering knowledge and mentor team members.
- Contribute to research and project planning for data center systems.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in designing mechanical components and using CAD tools.
- Preferred PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in mechanical design and analysis, particularly in data center environments.
- Knowledge of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
- Familiarity with complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Understanding of chip/socket/cooling solution stack-ups and structural behavior.
