Responsibilities
- Own and design the entire product design life-cycle from requirements gathering to manufacturing release.
- Develop and execute designs supported by thorough engineering analysis.
- Create test plans, perform testing, and validate designs against engineering requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve potential technical issues.
- Provide mechanical and product design engineering expertise to influence the technology roadmap.
- Identify and scope projects around innovation opportunities and technology risks.
- Mentor team members and share engineering knowledge.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of experience designing mechanical components and using CAD tools.
- Preferred 6 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Expertise in design for production, sheet metal, injection molding, and thermal analysis.
- Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and understanding of mechanical tolerances.
- Ability to architect solutions with business case analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills.
