Responsibilities
- Review designs using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles to create manufacturable and scalable products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-effective designs and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and product qualification planning.
- Work with the Product Data Management team on Bill of Materials (BoM), Approved Manufacturer Lists (AML), and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Oversee yield improvements and cycle time reductions for high-volume parts.
- Plan and execute moderately complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure technical excellence in collaboration with global partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical products.
- Proficiency in fabrication processes such as CNC, welding, and injection molding.
- Experience with mechanical design and 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks).
- Strong program management and communication skills.
- Preferred Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
