Responsibilities
- Evaluate, design, and optimize liquid cooling components for accelerator designs.
- Conduct detailed Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and pipe flow analysis for fluid flow and heat transfer.
- Apply knowledge of data center cooling and hydronic optimization within the data center environment.
- Utilize product design principles for high-performance systems and validate thermal models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cooling solutions.
- Drive implementation of infrastructure improvements and maintain compliance with codes.
- Generate ideas and communicate recommendations to senior-level executives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction.
- 8 years of experience in custom mechanical equipment design for data centers.
- Proficiency with analytical and modeling tools such as 6Sigma and Python.
- Preferred Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Experience with engineering team management and applying data center technologies.
- Strong knowledge of thermal analysis and optimization of cooling systems.
