Responsibilities
- Support various hardware prototype bring-up, signal integrity measurements, and debug testing activities under minimal supervision.
- Support a team of hardware designers, qualification and test engineers, on project planning within hardware development labs, and ensure adequate resources are available.
- Support lab budget planning for test resources, equipment, and facility-related projects.
- Liaise between hardware engineering teams and the lab team to ensure lab resources are accounted for.
- Develop protocols for testing equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in hardware evaluation methodologies including lab measurements and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to the improvement of hardware design based on testing feedback.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- 1 year of experience in a hardware development lab through internships or academic projects.
- Experience with hardware evaluation methodologies (e.g., lab measurements, performance monitoring).
- Familiarity with hardware lab equipment (e.g., VMM, oscilloscope).
- Understanding of computer systems architecture.
- Proficiency in Linux or other Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge in signal integrity measurements and hardware qualification.
