Responsibilities
- Support various hardware prototype bringup, signal integrity measurements, and debug testing activities under minimal supervision.
- Support a team of hardware designers, qualification, and test engineers on project planning within hardware development labs, ensuring adequate resources are available.
- Support lab budget planning for test resources, equipment, and facility-related projects.
- Liaison between hardware engineering teams and the lab team to ensure lab readiness for new products.
- Design test equipment for prototypes and develop testing protocols for scalability.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers to improve hardware quality and reliability.
- Apply hardware evaluation methodologies, including lab measurements and performance monitoring.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- 1 year of experience in a hardware development lab through internships or academic projects.
- Experience with hardware lab equipment (e.g., VMM, oscilloscope).
- Proficiency in disciplines related to signal integrity measurements and hardware qualification.
- Understanding of computer systems architecture.
- Experience with Linux or other Unix operating systems and shell scripts.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
