Responsibilities
- Support Advanced Manufacturing Engineers in developing manufacturing process solutions and capabilities.
- Strategize the implementation of manufacturing processes into established production and capacity planning.
- Develop manufacturing documentation including Bills of Materials and work instructions for New Product Introduction.
- Establish and maintain manufacturing and quality processes for new technologies.
- Collaborate with design and cross-functional teams to identify value engineering opportunities and ensure manufacturability.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners on build readiness and process validation.
- Solve design and manufacturing issues to meet project timelines and ensure successful NPI launches.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience with SMT and box build manufacturing processes.
- Experience performing DFx using tools such as valor and allegro.
- 5 years of project engineering experience overseeing NPI operational readiness.
- Preferred Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) tools.
- Ability to drive root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
