Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across projects or functions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose straightforward issues with equipment or infrastructure.
- Maintain the security and integrity of data and track media for data security issues.
- Disassemble equipment that has reached its end-of-life for part replacement or maintenance.
- Repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment based on identified issues.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and adapt to changes in a dynamic work environment.
- Follow data center procedures to report and resolve identified issues.
Job Requirements
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer/server hardware, or networking protocols.
- Experience with assembly of mechanical or electrical systems.
- Ability to lift/move 50lb of equipment and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends and night shifts.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a similar role, such as Systems Administration or Help Desk Technician.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and adapt to changes.
- Effective communication skills for verbal and written instructions.
