Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers, setting priorities and providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Collaborate with core teams to evaluate and develop data center electrical designs for new projects.
- Support long-term planning and delivery of HV substation infrastructure across North and South America.
- Provide expert technical support for the development of new data center infrastructure products related to HV, MV, and LV systems.
- Manage projects from initial site assessments and concept design through construction and modifications.
- Optimize efficiencies and seek improvements in data center operations.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 12 years of design experience in infrastructure and technology projects.
- 10 years of experience in bidding, designing, operating, and commissioning electrical distribution systems.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Preferred Master's degree or Professional Engineer license.
- Experience building data centers and related infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of large-scale facility cooling and related infrastructure systems.
