Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations of market-available multi-tenant facilities for acquisition, ensuring quality assurance and quality control.
- Manage power system issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with mission-critical facility requirements.
- Evaluate data center designs based on redundancy and availability targets, collaborating with internal teams.
- Interface with Third-Party Data Center Operations and other teams to deliver robust electrical solutions.
- Prepare various documents, including facility reviews, audits, and statements of work.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards, developing infrastructure improvements.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in electrical distribution systems and mission-critical facilities.
- Proficiency in power system analysis and engineering software packages.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
- Preferred: Master's degree or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Understanding of US electrical codes and IEC standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a matrix organization.
