Responsibilities
- Act as the definitive resource for integrators and contractors to resolve ambiguities in sequence of operations and network topology diagrams.
- Perform periodic site walk-throughs to verify the physical installation of end devices and ensure compliance with design intent.
- Ensure that field-installed hardware matches programmed logic and identify discrepancies to prevent commissioning delays.
- Assist the controls contractor in troubleshooting wiring issues and addressing communication "blind spots."
- Serve as the Lead Technical Point of Contact for all BMS, EPMS, and PLC-related engineering questions during the construction phase.
- Ensure seamless system communication and operational visibility through proper installation and networking of systems.
- Generate ideas and communicate recommendations to senior-level executives for improvements in data center operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or systems integration.
- Experience with BMS/EPMS architectures, DDC, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems for effective cross-discipline collaboration.
- Ability to trace failures from software dashboards to physical wiring or sensor issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to focus on data integrity for facility monitoring systems.
