Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and mechanical design packages.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to define requirements and test configurations.
- Develop workable mechanical concepts from ambiguous requirements.
- Support fabrication by reviewing manufacturability and resolving build issues.
- Assemble, integrate, inspect, and maintain prototypes.
- Plan and execute mechanical and system-level testing.
- Provide feedback from testing to drive design improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in designing and supporting electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with mechanical CAD.
- Experience in creating mechanical drawings and maintaining documentation.
- Hands-on ability with mechanical assembly and testing.
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to travel to test sites and work flexible hours as needed.
