Responsibilities
- Design printed circuit boards and schematics for Special Test Equipment.
- Create VPX adapter boards for routing backplane signals to test interfaces.
- Develop test interface boards for module and unit-level testing.
- Design power distribution boards with over-voltage protection and fusing.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet test requirements.
- Utilize electrical schematic/board layout software for PCB design.
- Perform design rule checks and generate necessary outputs (e.g., Gerber files).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in electrical schematic/board layout software.
- Strong understanding of PCB design fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of digital interfaces and DC power distribution circuits.
- Familiarity with general test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Ability to capture schematics and create bills of materials (BOMs).
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
