Responsibilities
- Manage a team of four experienced software and test engineers.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing, engineering, and support test tools for product lines.
- Define and create manufacturing and calibration tests for electrical hardware and software.
- Set expectations and manage requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Own the tools ecosystem encompassing design, validation, documentation, and release.
- Use data science to gain insights into production lines and provide feedback to operations.
- Continuously improve development and deployment processes to streamline factory releases.
Job Requirements
- Passion for consistently releasing high-quality software.
- Strong collaboration skills for leading projects with other engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of embedded, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
- Strong project management skills.
- Comfortable using command line and ssh for development on Linux systems.
- Experience working with manufacturing teams on complex products (bonus).
- Full stack web development experience (bonus).
