Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of mechanical architects, thermal engineers, and structural engineers.
- Lead mechanical architecture and structural/fluid/thermal analysis of iron-air batteries.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize system designs for performance, cost, and reliability.
- Ensure designs meet performance and manufacturing requirements.
- Mentor and develop team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate with external parties and internal teams for technical communication.
- Oversee model validation and correlation activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 12+ years of industry experience in mechanical systems and components design.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing and hardware product development.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Expertise in thermal and structural analysis methods.
- Strong mechanical design experience with multiple shipping products.
- Familiarity with FMEA principles and experience in batteries or energy storage is a plus.
