Responsibilities
- Own the Systems-level component category and maintain partnerships with strategic suppliers.
- Act as the primary contact with suppliers for contract and pricing negotiations.
- Drive commercial cost negotiations based on market conditions.
- Monitor market conditions to address supply challenges.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to execute sourcing strategies.
- Conduct data evaluation and analysis to inform decisions.
- Present recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management.
- Expertise in managing procurement for components used in battery systems or similar products.
- Strong data evaluation and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting to leadership.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30% of the time.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a similar discipline.
