Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the thermal test lab facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate on designing and validating specialized test fixtures.
- Plan and execute characterization tests for thermal components and subsystems.
- Lead comprehensive full vehicle thermal validation tests under various conditions.
- Select and calibrate instrumentation for data acquisition and analyze test data.
- Develop automated testing protocols for durability and reliability.
- Prepare detailed test plans, procedures, and reports summarizing findings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in thermal testing and lab management.
- Strong knowledge of thermal measurement techniques and data acquisition systems.
- Experience with environmental testing methods.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Python.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with test automation software and communication protocols is a plus.
