Responsibilities
- Develop 3D geometry and innovative design concepts for crash load cases.
- Perform tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and other simulations.
- Implement novel construction techniques and materials for production feasibility.
- Engage in hands-on prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on a well-defined project.
- Gain exposure to new technology and tools in the automotive industry.
- Contribute to the development of electric vehicle technologies.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aero Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work from the Long Beach, CA campus.
- Commitment to a 6-month engagement.
- Must graduate and be available for full-time work prior to September 2026.
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
