Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical design support for novel products in the EV platform.
- Complete mechanical design in CATIA 3DX for fixtures supporting DV testing.
- Assist in creating manufacturing instructions and test instructions.
- Design and execute experiments to validate concepts for production.
- Collaborate with electrical, testing, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Coach suppliers in executing tests according to the test plan.
- Develop engineering prototypes through rapid prototyping processes.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong engineering fundamentals applicable to vehicle systems.
- Relevant internship or lab experience in electro-mechanical design.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication methods.
- Proficiency with Catia, Enovia, or similar tools.
- Attention to detail in design work.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing electromechanical systems.
