Responsibilities
- Drive the electrical bring-up of prototype vehicles, ensuring seamless integration of all electrical systems and components.
- Spearhead vehicle-level issue diagnosis and triage, utilizing first principles of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and integration engineers to design and release mitigation strategies and clear vehicle issue roadblocks.
- Lead electrical integration activities with manufacturing regarding all electrical architecture and systems integration workstreams.
- Create comprehensive release artifacts, diagrams, and documentation for platform electrical architectures.
- Serve as single point of contact for electrical issues in vehicles, providing rapid response and expertise.
- Coordinate with systems test teams to perform vehicle-level testing and debugging, collecting and analyzing data.
Job Requirements
- B.S in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience working on complex electrical systems or electronics designs.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them to automotive concepts.
- Proven experience in vehicle launch activities from prototype phase through mass production.
- Proven debugging and diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
- Highly skilled in low voltage systems development and electric vehicle system architecture.
- Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
