Responsibilities
- Own the mechanical design and development of a high volume, high voltage electro-mechanical system.
- Collaborate with the hardware design team to develop a build to print electronic control unit.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality standards and DFX principles.
- Develop engineering prototypes and coordinate testing for functionality and performance.
- Engage with suppliers to evaluate processes and materials for manufacturability and quality.
- Participate in the development of assembly and test fixtures.
- Support test planning, execution, and documentation based on design requirements.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and developing electro-mechanical components.
- Experience with PCBA integration into mechanical enclosures.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication methods.
- Proficiency with Catia, Enovia, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing electromechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
