Responsibilities
- Electrical design of key electrical boards including schematic and layout.
- Provide guidance to OEMs for executing designs.
- Bring up designs and test for reliability and validity.
- Conduct proof of concept and production testing on prototypes and vendor EVBs.
- Experiment with innovative new designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
- Ensure compliance with design best practices and standards.
Job Requirements
- 3 years or more in an accredited Electrical Engineering curriculum or equivalent experience.
- Experience or interest in eCAD tools.
- Knowledge of DC/DC converters, transmission lines, common data buses, and analog circuits.
- Familiarity with board design and layout best practices.
- Python scripting and C/C++ coding experience is a plus.
- Interest in the automotive industry and experience working on cars is beneficial.
- Interest or experience in microcontroller design is a plus.
