Responsibilities
- Construct a testable hypothesis and experiment plan/system design.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to create a work plan and prototype.
- Execute experiments and document results using sound engineering principles.
- Review approaches and results with the senior team.
- Conduct literature reviews as necessary.
- Design and build experiment hardware and software, including circuit design and 3D printing.
- Work independently while seeking direction as needed.
Job Requirements
- Actively pursuing a degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
- Ability to work in Everett, WA for the summer.
- Strong background in electromagnetism, optical physics, mathematics, and engineering.
- Experience with basic circuit design and electrical measurement methods.
- Experience running experiments and collecting data using scientific methods.
- Preferred experience with CAD software and hands-on experience with 3D printers and CNC equipment.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
